JR-Software was founded in 1996.
I learned programming on my own because I have always wanted more control over my work and many existing utilities were either missing a lot of functionality or were too buggy for everyday use. So after making some stuff for my own use, I started to distribute them over the Internet. Surprisingly, I started to get very positive feedback from many people.

P.S. I'm sorry for the bad English language usage on our site. You will probably find grammatical errors since we are based in Germany, and English is not my native language. Since the web site gets updated quite frequently and you want to get hands on the latest software immediately, it just does not make much sense wait for someone to proofread it every time.
