Easy Memo
Easy File-Crypt Function
Version V1.4 and higher supports functions to decrypting and encrypting files directly from the Windows-Explorer.
You know about this functions about programs like "Privacy".
The Easy File-Crypt function is working independently from the loaded memo file and will not change them.
For the decrypt and encrypt function you can define in the options a "personal password". (not in the demo version)
You can decrypt this files only on computers with installed program "Easy Memo" with the same defined "personal password" in the options.
Encrypt Files
- You can select in the Windows-Explorer so many files as you want. In use of the right mouse button select the menue "encrypt xx files". All selected files will be encrypted with a 128bit key. The new file extension is .JRMCRY. You can send this file by e-mail, store them in the internet and so on.
- A encryption dialogue is shown.
- You can select to delete the source files or hold them after the encrypting progress.
Decrypt Files
- You can select in the Windows-Explorer so many .JRMCRY files as you want. In use of the right mouse button select the menue "decrypt xx files". All selected files will be decrypted. Be sure to have in the options the correct password to decrypt the data.
- A decrypting dialogue is shown.
- You can select to delete the krypt files or hold them after the decrypting progress.

Check in the options if the "file krypt sevice" is selected. Yes, then select in the Windows-Explorer so many files as you want. In use of the right mouse button encrypt the files. You can start the encrypting progress in the encrypting dialogue. In the current tree a new file with the .jrmcry extension will be created. In the example are 4 files selected. The name of the last selected file will be the name of the new file followed by the numbers of stored files. After the encrypting progress a dialogue is shown. Now you can select to delete or hold the source files. |
